Light to carry, easy to set up. Can't speak to durability yet, and I hope it lasts given the cost, but so far we are big fans! We were the only ones on the beach with a shade sock and garnered a lot of interest. Most others were the popular versions that were either a lot more cumbersome to carry and put together or a lot LOUDER. I haven't figured out how to tie it if needed, but we didn't need to do that yet.

As long as the wind is strong enough and steady enough this is a good product. I have not tried it with the rubber grommet in the screw assembly at the top to dampen the sway yet because I didn’t know it was in the package until after my beach trip. The sway was minimal on this trial run so the shade was pretty consistent.

The shade worked wonders when the wind was blowing. When the wind stopped I had to use longer poles at each corner so the cover would stay up. Maybe shoud think of a pole that is longer than the two yellow stakes for the ground. A higher up pole would be ideal when wind stops on the beach. I have only had a few time where the wind stops, and this time was one of them. I love the whole set up. I am happy with my purchse.

Okay so here’s the thing - it’s expensive…! BUUUUUT—-it’s going to probably last forever! I absolutely love it, it’s incredibly well made. Great sun protection! It’s quiet. Lightweight to carry but 2 layers gives extra sun protection. Light, medium or heavy wind this performs. Also easy to spot your stuff because not many people have it (yet) where I live. This is NOT a drawback but merely an fyi (duh) on my part. You can’t scoot this super close to a family member’s umbrella because you need the straight & consistent wind /air flow.

It really is easy to use. I have other sun shades but they are so loud. One thing I would say is that it needs to be wider. You can get 2 chairs under. So with the family it's a tight squeeze. But a truly excellent product. One more comment if they made the brackets offset would make it more easy to set up.

Works great! Fast setup and break down. Since it is a windsock it is silent. No flapping of the fabric like you would have with a single layer. One recommendation would be to use a guy line (included in the bag) as a limiter to how much the shade will weather vane. But if you don’t mind the shade constantly moving it’s fine.
