I had been craving Kina in the shell for a long time and couldn’t find any anywhere. Most of the Seafood places on the Westside only sold them in punnets, to be honest was wasteful only selling the roe. What happened was I’m scrolling through Facebook and almost passed the kina still in the shell AND for Sale. I made my purchase and had my first kina in a shell as soon as it got delivered, did not disappoint. It made me nauseous in a good way to eat everything out of the shell. Thank you Scott S...

Delicious.
Just the packaging wasn't so great. The layers weren't separated after the top layer making for a big lump of snapper.
If you chisel a blade in between fillets and twist you can get them to pop apart if you're lucky.
Elsewise... have a fish and chip party :p

Never had frozen Kahawai before as I surf casted for them. Noe that your frozen samples seem to be discoloured and breaking up the 'blocks' of fish is quit difficult. However, once cooked the teste is good.
