This kit is based on a photo of a watercolor drawing I created about a dozen years ago. Seeing it with the dramatic sky was very pleasing. I use a magnifier with built in LED lights to help me stay within the lines when I paint. Occasionally adding a drop of water thins the paint, making it much easier to carefully work on my Best Paint By Numbers projects.

I totally loved the experience of painting by number on the canvas!! I chose a photo of a sunrise at my sister and her husband’s acreage to paint. They have sold the acreage after living their 29 years and today is their 55th wedding anniversary- so I thought it would be a perfect gift tor them to remember their acreage. I am receiving medical treatment that has kept me out of work for a bit. I am a busy person so the paint by number of my home kept my interest and motivation. It’s a refreshing alternative to reading and puzzles . Using a lighted magnifying glass on a stand was helpful as the numbers are small and the pathways narrow. I thoroughly enjoyed this project and look forward to doing another paint by numbers!

Honestly I love to do these kind of paintings. They aren't extremely challenging but they also take a good amount of time to complete so it's always a great thing to do when you just want to paint, but nothing complicated. Crafty does a great job at getting details correct and good color choices . I've already purchased my next painting to paint!

I’ve done a number of them. As a watercolor painter the paint by number is both different and captivating. This provider has excellent work and framed they are easy to paint on. I’ve done my three grandkids and just finished one of a couple. They capture the look of them and surprise reveal toward the end when the details are added.

I really enjoyed doing this project, although it took me longer than I wanted but being a new mom I worked on it when I got some free time. I will definitely be buying more sometime in the future. I think for the next one I’ll definitely start with all the dark colors first instead of in numerical order. I have to touch up the light colors a bit but this project definitely is not a quick project takes lots of time with how small all the numbers are.
