I'm no diver, but I couldn't resist adding something extraordinary to my collection. I chose the blue, but colour is highly subjective. Yes, the watch is deep in every sense, but it doesn't feel thick on the wrist. As for accuracy, in the eight days I've had it, it has gained 1 second per day. I just love this brand! I don’t want to admit how many of these gem of watches that I have purchased, but suffice it to say I can’t wait for this years inventory! The quality is beyond the price point, making each purchase a no brainer,! The one time I needed some service on a watch the company exceeded my every expectation. Great watch. I am an airline pilot and always in different time zones. In aviation everything we do is based on GMT time. Our flight plans,weather, everything is based around it. It’s nice to always have it set so I don’t have to wonder if it’s plus 5 or 6 or 7 hours difference. It’s also great to have an automatic watch. Damascus Pattern is good, smooth to the touch. Solid. Swiss movement is accurate. Easy legibility reading the time, not so easy reading the date. The date window needs a cyclops lens. Rubber strap is rubbery, Damascus buckle has some sharp edges and would benefit by being more rounded. Lume on dial, hands, and bezel is consistent and bright blue. Simply Fantastic Initially, I thought I would grab a Steinhart Ocean One Ceramic, but after a ton a research and watching quite a few videos, I was sold - I wanted the Deep Marine Explorer with black dial and ceramic bezel.
