Loved this pattern. Very easy to knit with an effective design. The yarn was perfect too - not too much pink! This knit is going to my daughter who is expecting a baby girl in May - she doesn’t want an overload of pink! I enjoy the surprise contained in each Knit in a Box.

I found a mistake in the pattern where it says K when it should be P or it would have had a garter stitch ridge above the rib instead of stocking stitch. I’d started with a side but just didn’t like the way it looked and undid it, it put me off initially. I’ve decided to start again now I’ve finished my other project, but with the back. I’ve started the st. st. with a purl row where it says knit. (WS).

I have been a member of Knit in a box since it started, but I still get excited every month waiting for my box to arrive and then opening the box and unwrapping the contents, the yarn is always beautiful and soft and the patterns so pretty, and then all the little surprises, sweets and gifts.

This is my first box but it won't be my last. Absolutely loved it. Very easy pattern with lovely texture due to the double moss stitch. Loved the gifts too. Beautiful calendar , kitchen converter which was full of pencils, (added bonus). Sweeties!!. I had plenty of yarn. I made the third size and had enough yarn to colour match the stripes on the front and back and on the sleeves. I made a matching headband and still have a full ball of yarn left. I may make the cardigan next. Thank you so much.

I received my first monthly baby subscription and I was very impressed with the quality of the wool and the pattern was pretty easy to follow.
As you can see I have not quite finished the cardigan yet. I have also made a hat, bootees and mittens to match for a new arrival in May.
It has been a godsend having knitting to occupy me during the lockdown and considering I haven't picked up a pair of knitting needles for thirty odd years I'm not doing too badly.
Can't wait for my next one to arriv...

Hi just to say this is the second ladies box I have had and I am delighted with them. I am just partway through doing Aprils ladies cardigan I have found the pattern reasonably easy to manage as I am not a very experienced knitter but have managed so far to do this. I would recommend to anyone who needs a new hobby or just something a little different to do.

I was sitting in the garden as the postlady passed by and left my KIAB on the garden wall for me (social distancing). On the side of the box it says 'Happiness inside' and do you know, I think that is true! It cheered me right up, not that I was glum to start with. Any passing neighbours were inquisitive "Ooh what've you got?" and I was glad to show them!
Inside was beautifully presented, wrapped in sparkly tissue paper, yarn, needles and treats. Deep joy!
