I cannot praise Knit in a box enough, each month you get this lovely box packed with beautiful wool and a pattern and all the accessories to knit a lovely garment, and then all the treats and sweets as well which is an added bonus, the excitement every month when the box arrives is unreal. The experience of receiving a monthly subscription box is second to none. I love the surprise I receive each month it’s like having a birthday every single month if the year. It’s always exciting to see what’s in my box of happiness. This is my most upto date box the May 2023 ladies box I absolutely loved knitting this one and the gifts & treats were superb too!! Really impressed, have been a knitter for years. Great to have all you need in one box, may seem pricey, but how many times do we get a pattern and not get quite the same wool because it is cheaper, never the same looking if you don’t get the correct wool. So I say treat yourself it’s so worth it!! X

This is a wonderful box and the patterns are lovely. 4 ply wool in a lovely shade of lilac too. There were 10, 50g balls of sirdar country classic in 50% acrylic and 50% wool. Its going to take a bit longer to make but will be worth it. I’m making the cardigan as I can’t wear wool next to my skin but I loved the lace pattern from the little summer top pattern so added it to the cardigan. The gift was great for my really long hair as it was a hair mask and smells lovely and made my hair feel silk...

I’d been looking for a pattern for a poncho/ wrap to make for a birthday gift later in the year. This KIAB ticked all the boxes! Pattern, yarn, sparkles, unexpected and delightful gifts and some chocolate too! The pattern is easy to follow and the yarn knits up really well. I do try to support my excellent local wool shop but KIAB really complements the experience of going into the shop. For voracious or even ferocious knitters you just can’t have enough ways of finding yarn and patterns!

My First Ladies box. I was taken aback by the amount of yarn. Plenty of yarn to make the larger sizes. I love green, but have never knitted it for myself so that was a bonus. The yarn knits nicely and will hang nicely when it’s finished. Only one more sleeve to go. The treats were a nice surprise and the sweeties were gone very quickly! It is great fun to get a surprise to knit every month and I am really pleased with this months surprise!

As I crochet more these days, when I saw this box and had to get it to try. When it arrived I was well and truly amazed how wonderful it was for the price. Inside was a bumper amount of wool, 6 balls of DK baby wool and it is like silk to use. First time picking up the knitting needles in over 4 years and I tried it out on this little jacket. The wool is so soft and feels lovely and silky in the hands and knits up well. Just finished my October 2023 Hayfield jumper, I decided after much deliberation with the 3 patterns to go with the cuff to cuff jumper. It’s gorgeous! The yarn is lovely to work with and the Bronze shade is so rich and warm. I added the metal work buttons that were included in the box to it on the sleeve rib even though not in the pattern as they compliment the yarn so beautifully. Thank you KIAB 💗

Every month my Ladies box brings a nice surprise of patterns and yarn, lovely gifts and a couple of nice treats. Rarely are the patterns not to my taste but if thats the case I chose another pattern to use the yarn. Nothing ever goes to waste and often there is enough left to make a second item. I’ve been a subscriber for 2 years now and have learned so much.
