Ordered these knives as a gift, whilst there was a delay with the delivery time quoted due to holiday season demand, the knives arrived. Firstly I was updated regularly via e mail on the delay (thank you Naomi and James) which eased the pain of the delay. More importantly the wait was very worthwhile, the set was delivered in a presentation box, each knife was of high standard and calibre. While this knife took a long time to arrive, it is now one of the workhorses in my kitchen. The tip is amazing, and the knife slices tomatoes with no problem. It is super sharp, and makes the chore of slicing and dicing a breeze. It is surprisingly lightweight, which I am still getting used to. It would have been great if there had been some information with the knives as to how they are made and how to look after them. The knifes have been produced to a very high-quality. The sharpness of the blades is excellent. Water simply runs off the blade. The handles also of excellent quality I’m very pleased with the complete design. These knives are priced very competitively and I’m delighted by the quality. I previously purchased Japanese knives maybe 20 years ago and they are passed their best now and they were much more expensive and I’m being honest not as good as these knives.
