I was hesitant to get bags because I thought it would change the look of the bike but these bags go so well with my Scout. I got the pair so I can fit my jacket and hat on one side and tools and snacks on the other one. I can't wait to take the bike out on longer rides this Spring. The installation was super easy. The brackets and bolts all arrived wrapped up so no damage to the bags. It comes with 2 keys. I really like them and I highly recommend them.

Installation is pretty straight forward with the directions. These bags dont have the cut-out for the shocks so they sit back further and with the spacers sit slightly away from the bike. With my placement I tried to stay in line with the curve of the rear fender and like the way it turned out. Only thing I would suggest for anyone doing this install would be to add heat shielding to the hard bag above the exhaust. There is about 2" of clearance but better safe than sorry. Easy install. Had to stretch the bolt bracket to fit over the fender. But not a big deal. Just put about 75 miles on the seat. Still needs some break in. But very comfortable.

Easy installation (maybe 20 minutes, if that -once you figure out which socket to use). I use my bikes to commute, so being able to fit in a laptop and an extra layer of clothing in case of weather change was important - as was my ability to pick up some groceries on the way home. All goals were achieved. If need be, I could certainly pack more. Looks great!

The instructions on installation was butt,the pictures did not explain everything for the bags I purchased neither did the video.After 2 hours I finally figured out how to install one side I was able to install the other side in 30 minutes. I suggest you do an upgrade on installing.

Installation instructions not 100% accurate. If you have saddle bags on your bike you only need to replace 1/2 of the front grommet. Mounting bolts are way too big. They can be 1/2-3/4in shorter and knock the diameter down 2 sizes. So I had to purchase new mounting bolts, nuts and washers. Other than that it installed fairly easy.
