I experimented with "thunder" as a sheer overcoat. The underlying colors are "hot topic", "violet" and "true orange". There are 2 coats of thunder over the brighter tones. Blue Raspberry is a bright almost cobalt blue and is my favorite part of the Summer 2024 collection. This bright blue painted beautifully opaque in two coats and dried with a smidge matte prior to adding a top coat. I'm sure this stuff has to work, because, oh my word, it tastes awful. Fortunately I am no longer a nail biter, (I tested it to find out how often my nails are in my mouth... Matte is the best matte topcoat that I have used. It dries relatively quickly and solid with a velvet like finish that lasts. It’s the only topcoat that I haven’t had to use a QDTC underneath. It works by itself!

I’m just loving these new top coats from beautygarde! Cling gives me a plump quick dry long lasting mani, gloss gives me the highest shine. Matte is the best matte top coat I’ve ever used. Very durable!

I tried the Matte topcoat over a Wisteria mani and am super happy with how it turned out. It gives my mani a nice velvet look since Wisteria has some shimmer.
The formula is a little thicker than the other topcoats, but still easy to paint and goes on smooth.
