My mom has dementia, and we struggle to find activities for her. She gets frustrated and upset when we attempt higher-level card games like Kings in the Corner. Then she gets mad when I try to get her to play Go Fish. "This is for babies!" We play Ouisi with five cards, discard, and draw like typical card games. Took this to my 92-year-old father's house to try it out. He has no memory issues, but I wanted to try a game with my husband and my father and myself. We had a great time. It made my father think differently than his normal very linear organized manner. He had to be creative, and that was a challenge for him. But he had a great time. I think it is a great product for all sorts of people. It makes you think in different directions & in different ways because you're comparing your ideas to others...

We gifted OuiSi to our 4 1/2 granddaughter for Christmas -- she organizes her world into "sets" of things that go together -- by color, number, type, etc. -- and has been doing so since she was a toddler. I have LOVED playing OuiSi with friends and family. It's been a sweet way to spend time together, think creatively and get some laughs in. I am a photographer too, and I can't think of a better game to have at the top of my collection. We haven't ventured into any of the competitive game suggestions yet...but we played "train" with our homeschool elementary co-op, had a few rounds of dominos with my 4 y.o. niece AND took it to the mountains to play wit my 70+ mom ;). Hi! I recently had a sleep over with my 13 year old granddaughter and we played 2 games of OuiSi . First we started with 1/2 the cards and we followed like Dominoes matching by visual connections. Our second game we used all the cards. We both thought it was very interesting when we described what we thought the image were. I love this game! We played it with our grandsons, 12 and 7, and had a great time! Then I played it with two couples. They were skeptical at first because there were so few instructions for me to give them. By the end of the game, I couldn't stop them! They were walking around the table, cheering each other on, we used every card in the deck!
