I love these Derwent Graphitint Pencils! I did a quick (not well done) sketch to try out the color ranges using the 3 Graphitint pencils with a bit of fluid graphite, Graphitint pans, and a paint brush. I look forward to using these again! And again!

I was really excited to try these powders. The pigments were so intense. A little goes a very long way. I really enjoyed how they layered and mixed together. Having the option to add them to the white watercolour is a great idea. The Copic fine liner pen is great. Very fluid in with robust nib. I hope there are going to be more in future boxes so I can add to the collection.

Thank you, Sketchbox! I especially liked the included brush & postcard size paper block that allow me to experiment with quick sketches like these, painted front our table over morning coffee. :) These are my first attempts using powdered water color; a little goes farther than phthalo blue so I recommend swatching and lots of experimentation. Truly a fun, inspired collection.

A beautiful box with everything you need to paint your next landscape. The colors are vibrant, easy to mix, dry fairly quickly, and you will get quality results. This is worth every penny to get you started, would buy again.

The Grab Bags are always a win, "grab" one if you see them. This particular bag had a Brown Theme, walnut ink, warm tone dual tip Copic 4 Fusion markers in a flesh Yellowish Shade, Ochre and Tuscan Orange, Cretacolor pencils in classic white, light sepia and black, a round brush, Magnani cold pressed paper, Stabilo Fine Sensor micro pen, Edding brush pen in brown, and two Sketchbox filled ink brush pens, one in teal and one in black. Really great 100% cotton watercolor paper. A joy to paint on! Also great for colored pencil. A little bit longer sheet than the usual 4x6 that comes in most boxes.

All of the supplies in the photo and more fit into this well designed and sturdy travel bag. Painting outdoors will be even more fun when the temperatures cool off and I'm out there more often. The sections and pockets are perfect for organizing painting supplies. I will likely use this as a travel bag when traveling even if I don't take paints.

This has so much room for my supplies. It is holding a good selection of brushes, pens, pencils, paints pads/journals, phone, water jar and more! It is sturdy and roomy and well made. I am going to paint on it to add color. I love it! Thank you for this fabulous product!

This "crossbody" shape watercolor sketch bag holds a lot. It has enough space on one side alone for nearly everything (brushes, water container, palette with colors, paper) and you could use the second side for personal items. Or stuff it full of everything you need for a sketching trip and then add or subtract in your hotel room as you need. There is even a front zip pocket for small items (say, a credit card and some cash and a room key.)

The paints are vibrant, the pens work well and the other goodies are a great addition to the kit. The communication about a delay with the travel bag (which was totally out of SketchBox's control) was good. The kit arrived in two separate packages in order for the buyers to be able to take advantage of the supplies while waiting on the travel bag. The bag is top quality and will be used for many adventures!

I took the supplies with me on a little trip and very much enjoyed making small sketches/paintings while I was traveling. This Limited Edition Urban Sketch kit is incredible and absolutely worth every penny! All the products are top of the line and none of them disappointed me! Worth waiting for! The bag was delayed due to a customs hang-up and it was shipped it separately, which was very thoughtful. Meanwhile I had time to play with the color set. This is by far my favorite pen, and I use pens a lot in my work. It's so innovative, I had to get a second one just so there is one in my art studio and one in my bad. The color choices are awesome. I chose the marker set too since I use that for calligraphy and cards, (plus my kids like them). I'm very happy with the deal I got and will remain a loyal Sketchbox customer forever.

I'd like to point out how well the pan pastel worked as providing toning, or a background color. I laid this down with a paintbrush. This approach worked better than pastels in stick form. Then out came alcohol markers, watercolor markers, colored pencils and graphite pencils. The markers and pencils worked so well on top of the pastel. I'll certainly be using this in other pastel pieces I did but I wanted to point out this non-standard use of this item.

I got this in an Artists Choice Monthly box. They were the perfect colors for this drawing. Used this these pastels with other pastels and pastel Pencils that I have. Rembrandt brand is lovely to use and this drawing heavily relied upon the colors in the set.

I love these matte finish graphite pencils, they're easy to shade with, they don't get glossy like regular graphite pencils, and they retain a reasonably decent sharpness while working. They're also easy to sharpen.

I was looking for a black liquid paint that would dry with a sheen, as opposed to a matte finish. I also liked the applicator tip option. This is the first thing I found to fit the bill. I’m a newbie, so can’t say I’ve exhausted all other possible mediums, but this works for me. The pic isn’t a big sample, but hope it helps.

The Derwent Inktense Pans were so much fun to paint with! This brand and this type of medium are new to me, and I love how vibrant the colors are, and how so many different shades and new colors can be made from this set of six.

There are 3 reasons to use this: 1) Yep, it is paint. How about using it on black paper to show a cathedral at night. 2) Adding highlights to colored pencils because after all, the white pencil just isn't going to show on top of the strawberries that morph into melted was. 3) Fixing booboos. You can't see that huge black blob in the red, blue, gold and white manuscript painting can you? Isn't its versatility lovely?

These pencils are creamy. To get the best effect of the white, using toned paper works the best. When you don't have toned paper at hand, watercolor on the paper does the job. Did I mention how smooth and creamy they draw!!!!

The pan pastels work different than the sticks. Now for application, there are the sponges that are included that provide thick layers. But I also use Q-tips and paint brushes which provide another method of spreading the surface and for blending. And then there are the fingers. Each applicator behaves differently so you work with many styles to get different effects. These pan pastels also work great for toning paper that you then use with colored pencils. I love these. Inktense truly is "intense", as the pigment is so rich and soluble. Even a watery wash provides a lot of color. These pigments go a long way and I'm sure these half pans will last a very long time.

Love the versatile color saturation when a water brush is used. I found the pencils a pleasure to work with. Enjoyed the process of painting with a colored pencil and had to get a second set for the sketching go bag. Because everybody needs an art go bag right?

I'm VERY GRATEFUL I found these at a reasonable price at Stetchbook.com I pray you NEVER run out of stock on this. And I WISH Caran D'Ache would listen to it's customers and continue to make available the "Full blending sticks-2 packs" without the wood, because they are not the same thing with the wood version. Thank you so much for stocking this product and making it available. I would highly recommend this product and Sketchbook for quality products.

These soft pastels were so fun to use. It was my first time using this medium and they worked great. My skills aren't the greatest but it was still a lot of fun to create with them. I've since bought other colors to use. Highly recommend if you're interested in using soft pastels!

I absolutely love this circular watercolor block. I feel like the size of it is perfect to make carefree and fun paintings or other artwork. I used a whole 15 pages previously and came back for more! So I’ve been using this for a while with my Holbein pencils as you can see in the picture. It’s awesome, it breaks down the binder which allows the artist to move some of the pigment eliminating any strokes or other visible things that the artist would rather not have. What I just learned is it works on all oil pencils, and when I tried on my polychromos I’ll be damned if it didn’t work equally as well! In my opinion, given what it does, it’s been the best solvent to blend with
