I have 10 Guinea pigs. This is Spike, an older male. He got his Orchard grass hay box on 01/13/2023, and still has a third of the box on 02/10/2023. His next cage neighbor, Polar, got the same box at the same time. He is near the bottom of the box. There is some very fine hay at the bottom, not dusty, but too fine to eat. This is actually the second GuineaDad fleece liner with pocket that we have purchased! Having two allows for easy swap out each week and doesn't disrupt our piggies comfort. ours LOVE the pocket and the crunchy condo they come in. They are well worth the investment. As a new piggie owner, it was confusing trying to find an easy solution to providing 24/7 hay access to my girls as well as learning to take care of all of their needs, including the medical needs of 1 of my girls (she had a large cyst on her neck when she was adopted). We LOVE these liners! We have 2 boars and have had the liner in their cage for nearly a week. With spot cleaning every day, we haven’t had to change it until today. Amazing product. I was skeptical at first switching my precious Cassie from shavings to your liner. As soon as I put him back in his pen he immediately took off popcorning and squeaking! He is so happy! I have owned him his whole life and have never seen him this happy 😊 Now I will have to get his sister and mom their own liners. I love these liners! I bought 2 similar liners from the pet store and they are no comparison. They didn’t wick the urine and they shrunk so much faster. The Guinea dad liners are slightly bigger than what I need and that helps keep everything clean as the liner goes up the side of the cage just slightly. I really like these liners! I'm so glad I found them and invested in a better bedding for my cavies. I warmly recommend them for any small pet owner. They're cheaper than the alternatives, easier to clean and mantain, and as soft as a cloud. As I often observe, my guinea pigs lie down and relax anywhere on these liners, sleeping in or out of the pocket, as they please.
