I've tried about 5 "cheaper" rigs with terrible results. I didn't really want to spend $400-500 so the price point on the Perkins Belt was in the range I was willing to spend. It turned out to be so worth it. The belt is comfortable. It flows well (hammer location, tape holder, etc) are great. I'm still getting used to the drill hook location. I've worn tool belts for various projects over the past 40 years. I'm not a pro, just a handy DIYer and often get myself into projects requiring a tool belt. I love the tool belt. The best I've used. I'd love it even more if It had a good place to hang a drill and driver. Right now I've taken to hanging my driver off of the hammer sling. That does sometimes get in the way when I'm trying to take out the hammer and the driver is clipped to the sling. I bought the suspenders too and I notice there is plenty of room on them for some small loops for pencils, starter punch and other thin long things. I am a DIYer. I have used the Perkins Toolbelt set several times now, building and repairing things around the house. I love the belt and the pouches. I even had to buy a Stiletto hammer to complete the set to be cool like Eric! Everything on the toolbelt is functional and easily accessible. If I had one thing that would make it even better than it is, it would be nice to have some tool slots in the smaller pouch to keep things like pliers and other miscellaneous tools from moving around. ...
