We used 1/2 inch corkboards for a very large circular bulletin board at the Lakeside Nature Center in Kansas City, MO. The boards was flexible and pliable enough to encircle a 10 ft. diameter column in the lobby, while at the same time sturdy and durable to last as a display for the center. We had to cut and piece one section, and we were able to do this with just a box cutter. We covered it with burlap very easily just using a staple gun.

I;m using the stoppers as mould blocks to make feed throughs from amospheric pressure to high vacuum. The images show nthe copper wires of the prototype. The vacuum side is at the bottom of the device, while the upper part connects to various data acquisition and power control elements. After I've tested the integrity of the prototype I'll create a cleaner version and mount a piranni vacuum gauge on it.
