I do love it, it is easy to use. However it does have some flaws. Pump will get clogged easy. The mouth you drop your dirt in should be a little bigger so at least a severing spoon could be used with out making a mess and the height of the mouth from the conveyor should be a little higher. This would help with the smaller rocks that get stuck in the process. You have to dig them out and they will back flow into the pump area.

I like this flair because it does what it's supposed to do. It gives my sluice faster water which helps a bunch when I don't have enough to run it properly. It adds extra length to the sluice so when you feed it on the flair it allows the material to stratify before it his the mats. It's a great investment!

The next gen combo mat is pretty amazing! I haven't got much gold with it because there was not much gold where I was digging but it was a good spot to set up the sluice. I got a tiny bit of super ultra mega nano gold, and I was running it way too fast. I'm a long time dream mat user and trust them completely.

Bought this in hopes cleanup would be easier. And it is. I love it. I had about half a gallon of cons i had been saving for about a year. Ran them through this little thing and to my surprise i had gold. When i ran the cons, i had a pan catching the tailings and found nothing in it. I did make a slight modification, i sanded down the bottom edge that stuck up above the mat. It was catching too much.

I got the chalange coins to improve my confidence in panning. Now I am using them to check out gold recovery and sluice setting. Would like to see smaller sizes and possibly some round balls for practice over the winter to keep up skills.
Have started to pan and run my old tailings after using these and I am finding missed gold. Great learning tools. I'm panning faster and catching more gold.

Im very happy with this sluice I have been running a homemade sluice with dream mat. Yours is surprisingly lighter,thicker gauge so its much sturdier. I ran 10lbs paydirt plus some I already had thru the Switchback clean up sluice an it ran great. I recovered 4 grams from say 20 lbs of paydirt I had. Now I need to figure out how to recover the flour/real fine gold, water speed and angle for the dream mat to catch the really fine gold, otherwise I love the switchback clean up sluice.
