I mean it's a decent fragrance. I don't necessarily pick up anything extraordinary about this scent. I found MFK Gentle Fluidity in Gold more enticing than 540. Maybe 540 Extrait could provide better results, but I'm not willing to find out. This particular scent just didn't do well with my body chemistry enough to stand out. Glad it works well on others :)

Now I understand the hype behind this. This is the . . . creamiest . . . smoothest . . . vanilla perfume ever. It's like someone captured the aroma of the most vanilla French vanilla ice cream on the planet. Everyone talks about how great the Baccarat Rouge 540 is but before I spend hundreds of $$ on it, I needed to live in it for a little while. Most retail establishments that sell bottles, don’t always have samples available. Perfumes change based on individual body chemistry so samples are the only way to go. TL made it so easy. I won’t buy my perfumes from anywhere else now!

There is a reason there are so many dupes for this. An easy reach and quality ingredients from MFK. I personally love the first minutes and the dry down for me smells off, too sour for my liking but all my closest friends wear this and it smells different on each of them. Bond Greenwich Village (fresher) and Cloud by AG (sweeter) are the best dupes, but not exact replicas
