Husband's a Deputy Sherriff and loves these great thickish feeling socks I found for him. Really they are not heavy and not like boots socks, they are just made of a better combination of materials. I got my two pair on the same day I received 4 pair of Hollow. Wore them staggered between two pair of the hollow to compare. The Willow fit perfectly and we're very comfortable as opposed to the Hollow being a little tight but still felt good on my feet. Washed them together and hang dried them, both the Hollow and the Willow. The Hollow shrank so much I can't wear them now but the Willow stayed as they were. I like them so much I ordered 7 pair of the ankle socks and just got them today.

These are the first Alpaca socks I have ever owned. I love them. They really do keep my feet warm here in othe Central Plains winter. They are not as thick as I was expecting but they still have enough cushion in them to feel comfortable in my shoes. The boot length socks are long enough to go above my boots and hold tight, but not so tight that it causes any issues.

Bought the 5 pair deal option which has been a great call. I chose the boot length mainly for outdoor work, hiking, and hunting. The socks fit great and stay in place from the toe to the top of the calf. Snug fit and feel! Very warm comfortable option.
