I went with the boot cut, and they're TERRIFC for boots... I'm 6'3" and they're more "boot-cut" than any other like stared sock. They will be prlerfect for my above ankle boots, including my ski boots! Very comfortable, and wicked moisture away from my toes over an entire day hiking. I used to purchase another American made manufacturer of Moreno wool, they were GREAT socks. That being said these are BY FAR the HIGHEST QUALITY socks I've ever purchased!!
