I started off with just the basic TriPro kit without the oem bracket fitment was great but it looked odd wrapping around my factory mirror. Installed easily in Otto VeeDub, our 1974 VW Standard Type 1 Beetle. Using the OEM bracket made the fit and finish even better! We are constantly receiving comments about it and answering questions.
