As someone who is growing their hair out, it’s super helpful to have this for spilt ends. I don’t need to visit the salon frequently as I use it every 2-3 weeks. I have medium to thick hair above my waist, and it literally takes me about 20 minutes to do all of my hair. I do wash and dry my hair first, and then I straighten it so it works better. But it’s been such a money and time saver for me!

This split end trimmer isn’t as good as the pink one that I have also tried. This one pulls your hair no matter how small or thin the section. It does trim the small 1/4” inch like described in the videos and instructions, which is nice. The “pink” one cuts the entire split end, no matter the length. I think the trimmer is not for me, as far as placing hair in between plates.
