This is pretty much a classic nylon pop filter...that serves as an excellent replacement for the pop filter that came with the Eyeball. For those of use that are used to working with nylon pop filters, the OG simply gets the job done!

The KaoticaEyeball is an excellent product! I bought a brand new one to fit a used RODE NTG3 in excellent shape that I also recently purchased. Putting the KaoticaEyeball over the microphone was very easy and quick to adjust. The sound dampening capability of the KaoticaEyeball is excellent! My voice sounds very clear, concise, and prominent. I highly recommend this product and the combination of purple and black looks quite good.

If you don't have a booth, this is a great item for recording. I purchased to see how it would work for me, but I also record in a booth. I thought it would provide extra quiet for the mic, but it was actually too quiet. The eye is as it's advertised, I would absolutely suggest to give it a try for your recording needs.

It makes your vocals sound amazing. Some people said that it increases the volume, which it does a little bit. The microphone is just so sequestered inside the eye, It sounds so clean, and really pops!

I wasn't sure about how it would work. As it turns out, it's perfect for me to record V/O in my untreated studio space. I recorded a new demo for my SAG-AFTRA agent and they loved it! It's a minor inconvenience but it does cover the Mute and the pattern select controls on my Blue Yeti USB mic (just like they said it would).

The Eyeball is a god send, easy to use with instructions, the clarity of my voice is amazing, even one of my friends who is a producer is impressed, without having to treat my room. Great value for money I would say an essential tool, especially if you use a microphone for recording any types of vocals/voice over work, even for podcasting, a great addition.

Thanks you, we are in the midst of testing a few things with it. I want to give the best constructive feedback for this and if I could make a suggestion, or maybe it’s for a reason? I think the holes in the pop screen are really small holes to mitigate air through it and restricts the sound passing though. Would opening up the holes slightly and put a screen in the middle, covering the rubber pop screen or built into the rubber pop screen somehow. I could be out to lunch with these ideas but I...

Bought two Eyeballs for two different mics. I haven’t tested how expansive their sound deflection is but they definitely don’t seem to affect vocal tones. Got is very nice. But they are huge. The added weight means having a sturdy boom arm.

I purchased one of these for my home studio, and heard immediate sound elevation, minimal in house noises and mouth noises as well. I’ve had nothing but a great time and it adds ambiance and flare to the room. Would recommended to anyone with an in home studio or no sound proof room in a studio, definitely gets the job done.

Nice for isolation from my room and the reflection from the glass in booth. Can't forget to mention outside noises in the street. I can actually get rid of my booth plus travel with it. Great, buy a no-brainer decision.

Worked as desired, isolated the mic from bleed. Not super crazy about the rubber pop filter. I still had a lot of harsh siblances and plosives. Still deserves 5 stars for the mic isolation and the space it saves in my apt compared to traditional reflection shields.
