It aligned with the factory holes and the screws worked perfectly. The large base made my passes much easier and I could see my work piece through the acrylic base.

I have used the router sled which was very easy to setup, I followed the online video and everything worked great. I bought but have not used the vacuum attachment and shroud. I learned to be very careful not to apply weight of my arm onto the router as it causes a few thousands of an inch defection. I have some more projects coming up soon

I found the router sled to be easy to set up, and easy to use. So far, I've worked on several pieces that were just to wide for my planer, and it has saved me countless time at the drum sander with end grain cutting boards.
As strange as it might sound, I actually find it fun!

I think this product is great. I've got it set up on a 4 x 8 x 3inch table that i built and then because of it's versatility was able to also plane the table perfectly flat by jigging the sled crosswise across the table. I primarily do live edge slabs and burls and it does all these fine. The only change I would like to see, is that the rod extensions have the ability to be dowelled together to keep the rods perfectly alligned. The sled works great! All the slidey parts slide easily and all the straighty parts are straight, rigid and do not flex. I've used it on multiple butcher block cutting boards with great results.
Worth mentioning, I have an old Dewalt 625 plunge router and ordered the sled with the predrilled router base (U1). It was supposed to fit my router; however, it did not. After a few back-and-forth e-mails with Shawn, he sent me a blank base which I have subsequently configured for my router.
