I bought these shoes because I prefer to weight train in bare feet. Since receiving these in the mail, I have been wearing them everyday at the gym but not just for weightlifting, for all the cardiovascular and Gymnastics workouts. Super comfortable and a great price. So far they seem relatively sturdy but it hasn't been long. I knew I would need to clean these because they are a light color. What I didnt expect is that while drying, the 'leathery' part got spoltchy like washable markers. Weird but I still like them. Saguaro was recommended to me by a friend and I'm honestly super happy with the shoes I got! I got a size 38, despite their size suggestion being a 39(my foot is 9 1/4in long), and I'm glad for it. I admit I love wearing Saguaro shoes. I have worn an identical pair for at least 18 months and bought a second pair to keep exclusively for wearing in the gym. They are brilliant for every day use and in the gym - especially strength training & circuits. Since the Merrill stopped making their barefoot trail runners these are the first shoes I can wear! Great shoes! I've put 29 miles on them in this first week and they have performed admirably! I wear them to do a daily walk on the streets of my neighborhood. The shoes will have to be well made to take the strain! As you can see from the attached video, my streets are not paved. I live in rural Southeastern Arizona were the streets are graveled earth. I'm surprised how ridiculously comfortable these shoes are! I've worn them for multiple activities: walking/light hiking, mountain bike riding, and yard work. It's similar to a water shoe with very flexible, breathable material (great for hot feet!), plus, have a well constructed sole that grips well on varying surfaces.
