I have, at age 60, pretty fussy feet, with almost no fat pad on the balls of my feet. I wear orthotics and very cushioned shoes for hiking or long days out and about. These shoes wouldn’t have enough cushioning and support for my feet for extended outdoor outings. Just maybe for quick trips to the grocery store in good weather. I've always carefully chosen shoes from other manufacturers, and despite this, they're often unsuccessful. I have very wide feet and sometimes suffer from heel pain. I have huge, bilateral bony heel spurs which make finding shoes which fit my heel very difficult. I also have significant pain on initial weight-bearing related to the ossification of my Achilles tendon complex. Barefoot walking has been impossible. I took a chance when I purchased these. Not sure if I would enjoy wearing them as they don’t look very sturdy however I’m really impressed. They give you so much comfort and flexibility. I prefer to work out bare feet at home than in trainers so this has been a pleasure to wear when I’m doing homework workouts. My shoe size is 225mm, and I usually wear a US size 4 or 4.5. I have wide feet and a high instep, so finding shoes that fit comfortably is very difficult. I have two pair of these shoes. They are both listed as the same size.- 6-61/2. The first pair seems to be slightly larger that the second purple pair and is comfortable. The purple pair seems a tad shorter and it hurts my toes. I love the style and feel of the shoe. We had purchased some Saguaro shoes last year and wear them all the time. We were surprised with the quality for the price, so we decided to gamble on these boots, and I am not disappointed!
