This was such a great time! Can you guess who played each character? Guess you will have to buy the game to get the list of suspects! I highly recommend this MM. I wish I could have posted the video but its to long, we had someone go all out and sing two songs for everyone. We had lots of props and when the singing stopped the lights went out and gunshots were heard the lights came on and there was the body of Mr. Fixer. It was a great party, thank you Masters of Mystery. The whole murder mystery plot was really well organised, scripts well written, witty and funny and easy enough to follow. It encourages interaction between people and brings lots of laughter. I bought The Saloon Murder kit for my birthday it was my first time hosting a murder mystery party, and it was such a hit! We hosted a game night with friends and everyone got completely invested in their characters it made the whole experience incredibly fun and memorable. The kit was easy to set up, the storyline was engaging, and the character descriptions helped everyone get into the role quickly. We had such a fun night. There were 11 of us playing and we were all dressed up for Art Deco weekend so decided on this theme of Murder Mystery. A few wines and a birthday celebration were all part of the evening and ironically the birthday boy was the Murderer! We were celebrating our 40th anniversary so we decided on the 19 "40's" mystery. We had a blast even with a small group. Next time I would give character books up to round 2 out a couple weeks before and then once the murderer is picked before round 2 I would, as the hostess, use a marker to mark out the innocent script for the murderer and the guilty script for the innocents and pass those out then. I purchased this game for my Husband's surprise 40th Birthday party. He loves gaming and is also a big fan of puzzles (escape rooms and those brain teaser puzzles you have to take apart). Since he was born in the 80's and didn't like people saying "Happy 40th Birthday" I made the party an 80's gaming theme "Level 40 Unlocked".
