I was able to get it cut down to perfect length for my application. Welded on some mounts and it went together very easily. Only thing I wish they would change is instead of a Delrin bushing I wish they would use a brass bushing or possibly a bearing because after painting the shaft was too thick and would not fit in the Delrin bushing and it kept popping the bushing out when installing the shaft so had to grind down the shaft till it fit and spun easily and then put a thin coat of oil on it to ...

Installing this throttle cable on a c4 came with some unique challenges that I can’t blame the cable for. I was disappointed in the quality of the set screws that hold the cable at the throttle pedal end. To get them tight enough tot hold both rounded out. So I am now just hoping they hold. Maybe this was user error but I don’t think so. Happy with the finish product though and it operates super smooth.
