I used an old iphone 4 with the 30pin connector to stream music on my Yamaha MC-R840. Now ordered the Layen I-Sync. Although not listed in the compatibility list I gave it a try and can confirm it works brilliant. Very happy with it.

Bought it on a whim - thought why not as my B&W Zeppelin not getting much use due to both iPods getting old - one only works when connected to the Zeppelin. Now I am very impressed with being able to use the Zeppelin again now with my iPhone and blasting out the sounds. Highly recommended Product - thinking of getting a adapter for use with my Sony Stereo System.

I ordered it after seeing an ad on Farcebook, and thought,”Yeah,I’ll dig out my old Bose, get one, and give it a go”. It came a few days later,and to say I’m over the moon with it,is an understatement! It’s great,and has certainly given my old speaker that I haven’t used for a good few number of years,new life! Thanks for a great product.

I had an iPod sitting on my Bose sound box, it was redundant and rarely played. With the advent of Apple Music and Bluetooth, music was just a click away onto an iPad or iPhone, so simple. I used to buy 45,s and LP,s can’t believe the advances that have been made. This device just takes things further, it’s neat, compact easy to set up, switch on and leave it, brought my old soundbox back to life.. Great piece of kit, throughly recommend it.

This has brought back to life my old iPod speaker. I can play music in the conservatory nearer to the garden. I would normally have my Amazon Alexa speaker up loud which would make it loud in the house. This stops that from happening now and I can play my favourite radio station or Spotify within earshot without annoying the neighbours!

A neat & handy device. We have kept an old iPod Nano purely to be able to use our Bose portable speakers, but this has enabled all of us to use it from our own iPhones & given the speakers, which we love, a new lease of life. Simple to use & a decent range.

my Bose wave system Has moved out of the spare room and into the kitchen /diner bringing it back to life , I’d stopped playing CDs infact they’re in the garage out of the way , as I stream or blue tooth music more choice this little device is perfect easy to set up works like a dream

This is an amazing little device that easily allows use of our Bose Sound dock once again. It was so easy to get up and running, it actually took seconds to set up and it’s so versatile as it allows several devices to sync with it as well. So pleased with this product, I would definitely recommend!

I have tried a few different Bluetooth receivers with my B&W Zeppelin speakers. Nothing worked even if they said it was compatible. This worked a treat though and now can use them with Spotify from my phone. So glad I found it!

Money well spent! We had moved on from the old multi pin ipods, so this BOSE docking station was just stuck in the loft, gathering dust. However, it now has a new lease of life, whoever is in the kitchen, just connects their phone via bluetooth and "hey presto!"... quality sound fills the room. FAB-U-LOUS! Plugged it in, connected the phone, it was that easy.. approx 12 secs to set up. Have also connected my laptop. It is a fantastic piece of kit, all for thw price of two adult cinema tickets....

This is my second Layen, the first one, I-Sync, is in the lounge! Picked up another Bose Soundock for £20(!!) to put in the workshop, and this time fancied trying the BT-AUX Layen. Super simple to setup and I like that you get a decent length Aux Cable as well as an Aux 3.5mm plug. Pairing is simple, the BT connection is super stable and now I've got superb audio for less than £50!!

I was using an old iPhone plus adapter to use my SoundDock but with this both myself and my wife can wirelessly play from our iPhones. Good thing is that if one of us is connected the other can’t barge in and take over!

Saw this advertised and thought I would treat myself, especially as it was reasonably priced. It arrived within 2 days, simply plugged it in, paired with my phones blue tooth and was enjoying music within minutes. Great bit of kit.

Received my LAYEN I-Dock today - unpacked, plugged into my Bose speaker and paired with my iPhone, Mac, and FireTV with ease. Absolutely awesome device for very little outlay - the Bose speaker has been given a new lease of life and sounds amazing. Well done Layen - I will be recommending this to all my friends.

Tried the old Bose Sounddock we've got at work (kitted out with Layen Bluetooth Adapter, who I'd never heard of) and I was blown away at just how good a 10+year old Bose could sound!!! Went home, picked up a Bose Sound Dock 2 for £30 on FB Marketplace, bought a Layen for £25 online that night and two days later it arrived. Quick, seamless setup and now I've got the BEST sounding Bluetooth speaker I've ever owned, all thanks to Layen 👍

Could not have been easier. Can connect to my phone or my iPad. The rich sound is replicated as it used to be. Had a great evening of OHWonder last night followed by 70”s smooth hits. I am very pleased that a piece of now outdated kit has been transformed.

Saw this on Facebook and now I have my Bose back from the loft fully working. Dead easy to set up in minutes and works brill from my phone via Bluetooth. Excellent. Don’t buy a new system buy a small cost receiver.

Had a really old Phillips tower which had a great sound but wasn’t in use. It took longer to get the plug in out of the packet than it did to insert and pair. Absolutely phenomenal- so easy and mighty sound. I have a Bose Wavestation and a Klipsch sound dock so I’m going to buy another 2 devices to revitalise these audio gems ! Brilliant thanks.

Compatible with Arcam Solo and Arcam rDock. Front panel shows "Connect Ipod" as it's looking to communicate with the device, but music streams perfectly. Arrived next day, and works straight out of the box.

Wow. For something the size of a dishwasher tablet, this thing is a fantastic product. I had one of the first original Bose speakers, which have been redundant for many years, no idea why I kept them, just something extra to dust to be honest but after really quick delivery, it arrived, popped it in and within 5 seconds it had connected and my speakers sprung in to sound again. I bought one of these a few years ago to revive a Sony iPod dock speaker and found it to be excellent. Just recently I spotted another Sony ipod dock/radio in a charity shop for £5 , so I purchased another layen I dock for this speaker too. They are superb little gadgets that give life back to old speakers, for a very small price. Thoroughly recommended.

Arrived less than 24 hours after ordering. Hooked up to my ipad in less than 2 minutes from opening the packet using an old Cambridge Audio iD10 connected to an even older Sony HiFi, it works a treat.
