My favorite wallet, slim, efficient and really patinas really well.
I have multiple shell cordovan wallets and I still end up with my stock and barrel wallet most. I highly recommend this wallet and really molds to your cards and pocket. Not bulky like traditional wallets at all!

This was a ton of fun! First time doing a bag nearly this complicated (I've never even made one with the gusset before), so a huge learning curve, but I think it turned out really well!
Like a lot of people, I don't have a leather sewing machine, so I ended up doing the whole thing with a saddle stitch, so it took me a few weeks to do, though I'm guessing it'll go significantly quicker for the second one.
For those who are curious, it was made out of Wicket & Craig utility grade carving lea...

So far this wallet is holding up well. The edge paint is starting to show a little bit of wear but that is to be expected. The inside finish has a couple of small wear spots on it from removing cards. Over all I am very pleased with this wallet.

Chose this pattern as it fit my need for a satchel that could handle all my daily needs. Modified the front flap to a straight edge due to a lack of talent in cutting out the overlay. Also added additional rivets to stress points. Very satisfied with the plan and will probably make a few more bags for family/friends.

Had a great time making the bag, and love the pattern so much i had two full sized prints made up...one to use...and one to decorate the wall (cost about £10 each at a local print shop in the UK).
