We really love our SproutBox Garden beds. They were incredibly easy to assemble and everything we needed was supplied. They are absolutely fabulous, they look like they were designed specially for our small backyard. The 17 inch depth is perfect for all of our growing needs, we can't wait for the flowers to start blooming and are looking forward to all of the fresh vegetables that we are growing. This is the third Sproutbox 17” raised garden bed that I have assembled. Unlike the first two, the protective film was only on the outside of the panels. This made the assembly even faster. The quality of the panels and the supplied materials required for the assembly are of excellent quality. The protective film on the two expansion kit panels was perfect but unfortunately the film on the bed panels was poorly applied. Rooftop patio application: Got these to replace some rotting cedar ones, and so far looks like they'll do the job (I needed new planters and didn't want to have to drag all the stuff up to a rooftop patio again in 10 years' time). The obvious problem was being able to move them so roofing work could be done if needed. I got 2, 32" tall Sproutbox. Love them! Was a bit difficult in the beginning to figure out a system of handling the pieces as they are large in size and a bit wobbly until filled. In some ways this is a good thing because they are light and easy to position. I ended up assembling the ends first, then the sides, then finished the ensemble from the inside. The rods have to be assembled from the inside, so have a step ladder handy so you can get yourself out without bending the sides. We fille...

Because our mobile home is on a bit of a hill, the south end of the concrete slab needed a retaining wall to prevent the slab from being undermined. We bought some gigantic concrete blocks from the local paving company to act as a retaining wall. Then, we built a wooden flower box around the concrete blocks, added some dirt and now we have flowers growing there.
