My light finally arrived. I took about a month because it was out of stock; but it is absolutely beautiful and perfect for my space. Now....my dilemma with this light fixture was that it looked like it was greenish blue (teal) in the pics to me then true blue/gray. My living room is true blue (sky/grey blue) so I was concerned about the light not blending. Well, it has a SLIGHT hint of green; but it's more blue than anything. It does NOT clash with my decor. I love the look of this fixture! I’ve been looking for the right light in my dining room for 11 years, and this is it. It’s well made and nicely finished. Unfortunately, it has a couple of downsides. The included bulb wasn’t a satisfactory color temperature, but that is easily remedied with another bulb. Most unfortunate is the mounting doesn’t conform to any U.S. standard that I’ve experienced. We originally had a chandelier type hanging light over the kitchen table. When we moved the table to make a sort of booth with the bench, the existing light was hanging too low so we wanted a light that hugged the ceiling closer. This fit the bill perfectly. The only problem I have with this pendant light is that it is so cool looking I feel I have to upgrade the rest of the room. It is so easy on the eyes, both because of the elegant design and the way one's eyes are protected from glare. I've put it on a rheostat and am looking to see what the highest wattage LED bulb is that will fit so that it can run the gamut from romantic lighting to a bright work light. Absolutely love this chandelier! It's much larger than I expected and the directions leave a bit to be desired, but we got it together and installed. I wish it recommended the bulbs to use. Most small standard bulbs will graze the top of the globe. But, I think the E30 globe will fit and be about the same shape as the glass shade globes. The glass globes take a bit to figure out how to get on and tighten up, but it's mostly common sense/trial and error. We only have 6 of the 15 bulbs in at prese...
