At my school each child and their families list what their hopes and dreams are for the coming year. I made a dream catcher using these feathers to write the adults' hopes and dreams on. I used smaller fathers for the children. The children added beads to the twine, all varying lengths. I used a hula hoop and twine for the spider web and wove tiny battery operated LED lights around the hoop.

I love these hummingbird cut outs! I painted my own ornaments and they are a big hit! The shapes are clean with no sharp edges and the surface is smooth and ready to paint. I was afraid the long thin beak would break but after being jostled around a bit they stayed intact. They shipped within 24 hours and arrived at my house within a couple of days. The residents in my assisted living community loved decorating these! We’ve done so the past two holiday seasons. They glued paper straws to make “candles,” added yellow crepe paper for the flame, painted and embellished with gem stickers, then added a magnet to the back. The wood is smooth and provides a clean surface to decorate easily. Delivery was quick too. (The only thing one of my residents noticed, was that Menorahs have eight candle branches, instead of seven.)
