I already own a Boderry Checkmate and was so impressed with the quality that I didn't hesitate when I saw this bronze dive style watch. Normally this type of watch is too bulky for my skinny wrists but this one looks and fits perfectly. The leather strap is very thick but very supple, I just wish it had a bronze buckle. Easily my most favorite field watch! I love it so much, that I bought 3 and gifted one. I have a 8.3" wrist and stay away from 40mm watches. The larger crown is not off putting to me as it might be to others. For my older, clumsier fingers it’s actually better. The lug to lug gives the watch a larger presence on the wrist than which is to accommodate the NATO strap I suppose but keeps the watch from being as low profile as the diameter size would initially suggest. The pictures do not show it, but I got the Titanium bracelet. This is a nice watch and bracelet. The adjustment tool that came with the bracelet was not up to the task of removing the links. I found in practice that wearing the NATO strap was most comfortable for me. I fitted a strap that colour matched the Titanium, I think it looks good, but so does the beige strap. After looking for a watch that fit what I was looking for I found Boderry I read several customer reviews and was satisfied before I even got the watch. I definitely like my watch. A Fantastic watch for the price. I can't get over how good this is. I wasn't expecting much, seeing as it was a relatively inexpensive purchase, but this has exceeded my expectations.
