I had just purchased the DST-550 a few weeks before when I seen the DJP-1000 advertised and fell in love with it. Having the split coils is a great addition to an already beautiful guitar. This is a lot of guitar for the small price tag and it's a very versatile instrument which can cover so many genres of music. I like playing the blues and it's a perfect addition to my collection.

Another quality Donner product. Frets really well finished, the action was perfect for me and the intonation was absolutely spot on. 10/10 whoever did the set up. The fret board was a little dry, 5 min with lemon oil, perfect.
The neck is really slim, more so than any of my other fender/donner guitars. I would thoroughly recommend this for someone we smaller hands starting their guitar journey, and it looks great!!

This is my 3rd Donner guitar I've purchased this year. I now have the DST-550, DJP-1000 and now the DTC-100, I also purchased the Donner Arena 2000 this year which is a great addition to my collection.
I'm happy with all the purchases and all three guitars played pretty good straight out the box after a tune up. The DTC-100needed slight adjustment to the intonation, but after that played well. I've since copper insulated the cavities and fitted thicker strings.

It is a quality, well built guitar, but had a back bow on the neck out of the box, quick truss rod adjustment and all was well
Since i bought this guitar, it is now my favourite (i own more expensive guitars), sounds fantastic, light in the hands and very easy to play due to that beautiful neck.

First I’d like to say that I reached out to Donner with a query and they got back to me right away, which really inspires confidence.
The amount of kit you get for the money is crazy, and everything is off a decent quality.
The guitar itself feels nicely made, and the new mechanism for attaching the frames is great. No screws, no messing about, really quick to do and super solid when connected with no wobbling.
I did find myself adjusting the truss rod a little and lowering the bridge, but...

I love this guitar. It came in superb condition in a really nice case. Carefully packed in a cardboard box. The neck is lovely. It's a nice feeling neck that's easy on the hand. Tunes really accurate and has held it so far. I'm running it through a Marshall code 100 and a Blackstar 412 cabinet. These can be unkind to cheap guitars but the NHL 500 plays like a pro. Awesome guitar.

My only gripe is the neck is a bit skinny for my shovel hands but I'll perservere haha.

Great guitar! I was surprised at how smooth the frets & fingerboard were to the touch it made the guitar feel fantastic! Also the tuners were very precise and smooth, easy to use. Overall fantastic, however the airline I travel with has a maximum carry on size of 56cm so I can't take it with me and my case isn't big enough to pack it for check in so unfortunately I can't justify keeping it as i travel abroad at least three times a year.

Apart from tuning, the guitar was playable out of the box, nicely finished, superb fret ends and with features normally found on far more expensive guitars, like locking tuners, two point trem' and coil split switch on the bridge humbucker.

I went to multiple stores and saw so many overpriced pianos that sound more or less the same for £700 and above. the touch of the keys are definitely heavy weighted and I have been playing every day non-stop, this is what I needed.
