The sandpaper works great in my Jet 22-44 drum sander. With the 25 yard roll, I can get 7 piece at a much lower price than buying pre-cut paper.

First time polishing stainless. I learned to warm-up a small area and then go through all 3 buffer wheels (with their associated rouge) while that area is still warm. Got much faster results.

The video is of the roll of 120 grit getting rid of bandsaw marks. Other than the great surface it produced, the strip of abrasive has much much less memory from being rolled up. Easier to apply to the drum cylinder. I'll be back!

One man shop that makes doors and also guitars I sanded down the rosette parts with 6x80 sand belts and ran sound board through wide belt sander I finished with a 180 grit belts and was very pleased with finish, the seems they use on belts leaves little to none at all seem marks, most other suppliers fine grit belts leave marks that take some work to clean up, almost no need to use the platen bar. Both wide belts and edge sander belts I received from Maverick are very nice.

Received belts last week the 6x80 grit belts cut very fast on hard items such as abalone shell that made my job easy, taking rough pcs of shell sanding them flat and square. Very pleased with the quality of belts, they also track very straight hats off to Maverick Abrasives

Small one man shop kind of retired but can't give up the trade, it's great that Maverick will sell such good quality belts to small shops for fair prices, 37x60 80 grit belts have no problem taking down Hickory doors. Got belts in quick turn around time, had question on shipping so I emailed them and within in a few hrs Garrett Aryan from sales got back to me, it's nice to be treated like you are a bigger customer.

These are great sanding belts! They last a long time, and give an excellent finish. They are the perfect touch for the end of a job to make the wood look it's best.
I disagree that sanding is not fun! Sanding is the best part of the project when the beauty of the wood is revealed in full measure, and the results of all the effort really begin to glow! With good quality sanding papers and belts, the project will always look it's best.

These seem like really great abrasive disks. The have a heavy cloth backing. The adhesive is uniformly applied and is adhering perfectly to the still disk on my wonderful old "Wonder Grinder." The Maverick disks are slightly larger than the stated diameter which allows some latitude during installation. Trimming off the excess with an old file was easy. Thanks for a great product!

I ordered this product for an unusual purpose. I needed to be able to get a piece of course sandpaper to glue to a large 5x3 foot board to use to train my dogs to file their own nails.
I tried the squares that you can get at a hardware store but they would not stay in place. This product being in one full piece is working very well and I do not have to drug my dogs to hold their feet anymore. They just consider it part of their clicker training games!

These buffing wheels are phenominal and have taken my results to the next level. I polish steel and iron. I got the red wheels for black compound, pink for green, UBM 60/60 for white, and the white domet flannel for purple, in addition to a bar of purple compound. The collective effect of these wheels and finishing with the purple compound is about like a 2-3 year skill increase.

I am using the 36 grit Zirconia 2 x 48 with a small but very sturdy Palmgren 3/4 HP belt sander. Mainly I prep metal for welding, knocking off mill scale and grinding chamfers. This belt rips through it with very little drag on the motor. I would use a finer grit for major deburring but you can do it on the slack side if you are careful. For heavy stock removal this is perfect.

For Stainless, do a small area at a time. Change thru all 3 buffer wheels using the associated rouge in that same area. That keeps the metal warm and it shines-up much faster.

I've now used the 40g Zirconia on two jobs. I was pleasantly surprised as it seemed to perform at least as well as the more expensive brand I've been using for years, possibly better. Seen their ads on facebook, and wanted to try a new brand of belts. Ran a hard maple and epoxy top through on a 150 belt, didn't load and left a stellar finish. Belts are not directional so you can run them both ways. Will be buying again for sure.

I am more than quite happy with the Maverick 1" x 30" belts, as they make working with knives much easier. The low grit belts are simply awesome at chewing up and spitting out excess wood used as scales for knives. The belts also provided a uniform pattern on unfinished, yet heat-treated, chef's knife blanks that might be over 100 years old.
My only regret is not having acted quickly enough to get the 15% discount for a first time purchase.

I'm not disappointed. Now, will I exclusively stay with maverick , probably not, only because I like Kingspor and they're prices, which were comparable to mavericks.
