I’ve been using this pole for over a year now and have caught many fish. The case is comes in is compact and I appreciate it coming with a reel case. It was my first rod when I got into salt water fishing and I strongly recommend it if you need a travel rod.

Dragged it around on my pack, in my truck, etc for a few weeks before actually fishing it. First time fishing with the rod I was blessed with two keeper lingcods back to back from the pier at work. Great rod! I paired it with a 4000 reel with 15lb test. Second cast we pulled in a nice Perch, took it to the Pier and jigged up some red tail perch. The sensitivity was amazing as I was able to feel every bite which helped my hookup ratio. This is a great rod overall and not just for surf/saltwater fishing, I can’t wait to try this at my favorite trout spot. Thank you for making a great product!

I love it!!! I live in Florida, and it worked beautifully. I went beach fishing for about 5 hours and was able to test it on many species. I caught a baby black tip shark, a spotted sea trout, a stingray, a pompano, small baitfish, a crab (somehow) and (unfortunately) a catfish. It worked wonderfully and had great sensitivity to the small fish bites while still being very durable on the heavier, bigger, and harder fighting fish. Great pole! casts great and looks good. Took it to Scotland with me and it fits in my large checked bag if you put it at an angle. Back in Cali I scored a few halibut on it. My buddy just got one for our indo trip coming up cause it’s so reasonably priced and conveniently sized. Would definitely recommend getting this rod!

This past Sunday I took the family out fishing for walleye. Slow day and no luck, all of a sudden I landed this 3.5ft sturgeon! This rod isn’t rated for sturgeon but it held until I landed this fish towards the shore. Great product and best of all they’re going to replace the broken piece! Best customer service by far. I ordered large size and received the package in excellent condition. I was surprised by the weight of this rain jacket and love the fleece lined interior and added magnets for extra protection from the cold weather. The sleeves measured 4 inches longer than i expected and . i will have to make some adjustments to correct for the sleeve length. Overall, i really like this waterproof rain jacket for ultimate protection for the elements. :)

LOVE the travel rod. It came in handy when I was in Mendocino this past weekend when my Okuma rod broke. With the travel rod (and bobber rig), I was able to haul in these bad boys: 24" ling, 19" cab, 18" cab, a whole lotta kelp greenlings that I threw back, and even 2 sculpin.
For the 19" cab, I actually reeled that thing up about 30 feet or so up a cliff where I was casting from. I had no idea how I'd land anything but threw out a line just cuz I thought here might be some fish down below. ...
