While the skirt is very thin (transparent), when paired with a tulle skirt underneath, it is fantastic. The tiny green top probably won’t get much use and the overcoat is a bit too pale for me, but the skirt is great. In the photo, I’ve paired the skirt with a top I made and an undershirt purchased from Nuwa Hanfu. I absolutely love the undershirt. 💕❤️

I love the qixiong dresses of the Tang dynasty, but they're heavy and difficult to keep up (and I don't really like the way it looks when using straps to keep it up). This waist warmer is great because I can achieve the style I like, but since it's not a full skirt it's not as heavy and can stay up. I even threw it over just a normal V-neck T-shirt and it doesn't look half-bad! I hope they add more of these in different patterns and colors~

The clips and the flowers aren’t attached, so you can switch them out depending on what flowers you want to wear. The clips are sturdy, and I think you could probably use them and switch out the flowers for craft store flowers if you wanted more flower options

Although this one didn't fit me quite right (my fault - I mis-sized myself), I am giving it to a dear friend because it's so beautiful! I live in Taiwan, so it is very hot most of the year, and I think the material's quite suitable for warm climates like ours. I was so nervous that it might not fit because my measurements were just below the XL and I knew I had to size up to XXL (bc of the way it’s constructed). I have a small bust so it’s pretty loose there but elsewhere is good. the only problem is that it’s a little tight on my neck from the collar when I sit down. The color of the flowers in person are more golden/yellow than the muted tones in the pictures. Like another reviewer mentioned, it seems to be made partly with rayon and not just cotton...

The wrap makes it very forgiving, so if I'm feeling a little bloated or bleh, this skirt is a nice option to still look buttoned up and polished, but also not having to resort to stretch-fabric. I purchased a Large and it fits really nicely, however, I did have to modify the dress to fit over my chest. The dress zipped perfectly until it hit my underbust area, so I removed the princess seams (shaping seams that are fabric to fabric but are not structurally critical to holding the garment together.=) in the back completely, which opened up the chest area enough for me to comfortably close the dress. I wear a 34DD bra, so if you're slim but stacked, you may want to get this size for 90%...

This outfit is really well made! I had to do some converting to American size, so if you are interested just know you need to get 2 sizes larger than your ususl size, but it fits like a dream. Arms are slightly tighter than I expected. I find myself wearing the jacket very often now. It's easy to care for and clean. Handwash or delicate cylce in a bag inside out. Air dry is best. Embroidery is beautiful and the material is light and comfy. I would buy it in white too!

Really beautiful and made of good material! The skirt is a bit see through where it doesn’t overlap so you might need an underskirt or something to go underneath it. I’m also 5 foot and it’s a bit too long for me to wear with normal shoes or else I trip over it lol, but that’s fine for me since I have some platform shoes and heels I can wear with it.

The skirt is a beautiful slate/steel blue. The fabric is not particularly thick, but does hang beautifully. Since it is a wrap skirt the only tie is at the top so you may want to wear something underneath like leggings. Also, if in doubt size up, there isn’t a lot of overlap in the wrap and going up a size will give you a bit more overlap to play with.

This is such a beautiful skirt, and arrived exactly as the pictures on the online shop show. I’m 5’3” and got size S, and the skirt falls to my ankles, which I think is the perfect length (usually skirts/bottoms are too long for me). I have never worn hanfu before, but have been interested for some time now and love that this can be paired with other clothing for a more modern look. The skirt pattern and elegance is unmatched, every time I've worn this skirt I've received complements from friends and strangers alike.
