Honestly the peppermint flavor is WAY too strong for me. I pinch my nostrils to swallow and follow with a gentle mouth rinse. It is overwhelming. The Gaviscon I purchased here in the US had a mint flavor which is much more palatable. The product works well and I will continue to use it as needed.

I found these tablets effective. Since they are supposed to be chewed, I found that they crush into a sticky substance that clings to the teeth. It seems that it takes more tablets per usage than I expected. At least two and sometimes four to create that acid barrier. So, compared to PPIs like Omeprazole (at one per day), this seems more expensive. However, it doesn't have any metabolic side effects as do the Proton Pump Inhibitors.
