A solution the M5x community has been wanting for the past 20 years. My M54 has been suffering the text book low oil pressure at cold start for 5+ seconds accompanied with a rough start sound. Now every start is quick and quiet with the oil light only momentarily blinking once at start and immediately going out well before the DSC/ABS tests have concluded. The Mercedes service center told me that I needed a new turbo ($10K) - saw a YouTube video that explained how the “low boost” error could be because of this vacuum valve. Viola! The new part fixed this issue! Diaphragm in the old was was gone.

The Diaphragm arrived in a really nice box which Immediately got my attention as to the Quality of the Product. It appears to be made of a Butal Rubber material instead of the Silicone one that came from the factory. It installed precisely as it should and completely eliminated the Vacuum leak.Looks like it should last a long time. I Give this a 5 Star Rating!!!

These are hard to find - I have ordered others and gotten used ones with old date codes. (The whole reason you have to replace these relays in the first place is that Europe's ridiculous "RoHS" - Reduction of Hazardous Substances outlawed the previous beryllium copper that lasted for decades. The new "safer" alloy corrodes to uselessness after about 20 years even if unused!) The seal kit for my E39 Bimmer's heater valve worked as it should have. The original Bosch I used the kit for is now in backup position. But if I need it, it should be well sealed. No telling on longevity yet, so I can only comment on the quality and the fact that it's cool that the kit was actually available. Quality looks good. Fit was no problem. Oh, and I was happy to give some business to those tough and resilient Ukrainians.
