This set up is perfect for a garage gym, basement or even professional business. For the cost this is one of the best workout equipment setups I’ve ever purchased. The installation wasn’t too bad, but the instructions could be a little better. For the rack mount you will need to buy your own screws and washers. Other than that I have used this rack a few times and it is sleek, durable and versatile for all types of workouts. HGL is a must buy.

Great customer service. Quickly resolved my issue of forgetting to add the 15lb pair to my order. One 25lb pair bumper is messed up a bit but not a big deal in the function. Otherwise had no odor upon opening and functions great for my needs. Would definitely recommend buying from them.

The Hex bar was shipped very quickly and arrived well packaged. The bar was also oiled which was nice, obviously to prevent rusting. The bar is great, the 45# weight of the bar is good because you don't need to re-do the math when adding plates. The plates are great overall! No bad smell or damage in shipping. A quick shopvac to the plates removed any loose crumbs from manufacuring. The plates are super quiet when deadlifting on concrete. A couple notes. The plates are chunky and you're limited by space to loading 405 lbs max on a standard barbell. The 10 lb weights are pretty thin and wobble like a baby giraffe's legs under stress. Overall I'm super happy with these plates and they meet all of my needs while being an economical choice.

I’d for sure buy the thin bumpers over the regular ones. You can fit 5 (6 without clips) on each side with most bars I haven’t gotten around to weighing them, but they feel like they are all around 45lbs The price is pretty unbeatable

the bar is great. its nice and heavy. makes no noise, the when the bearings are rolling. no play in the ends. the grips are nice and they are all in the right places. ive seen other bars that dont have grips everywhere, just on the bench press and dead lift areas. this has it in so many places. The packaging left something to be desired. the box arrived broken in two pieces. which left some dents on the bar itself. Its only cosmetic, so it wasn't a big deal. But still an area of improvement.

These spotter arms are well made, and they do the job. I have had to set my bar on them several times and have full confidence in my safety. I affix them to my wall mounted folding rack. Please note that having good bolted joints on a rack of this type to the wall will be the biggest structural concern in this system. As long as your rack is well affixed to a good wall, these will work well. Well done Homegrown.

A little wipe down is necessary but they're great, especially if you have inside machines. Would love to see more hyper thins, some fixed-weight urethane ez-curl bars would be cool too. I'll definitely grab more soon!

Love that I can fit more weight on the bar with the hyper thins. The factory seconds are excellent value. I got 8 and the only thing "wrong" with them is they're smoother than the regular ones. One is a tad warped, but not much, and one is a bit thicker than the other 7. No big deal!

Absolutely awesome. Still has the brand new smell. The rack is super solid and tough. Not worried about it falling at all. The barbell and ez-bar are very well made. I’ll be buying everything from these folks. And 2 day shipping is insane. I will say that the arms that hold the weights on the storage rack could be 2 inches longer but that’s nit picking. An arm will hold 2 45lbs plates or 3 25lbs plates or 8 10lbs plates. You can see in my video.

I ordered one set of 45s The plates arrived in 3 days to NY . The packaging was done well and it was intact. The plates look just as pictured on the site. I weighed each plate 3 times and all times they weighed 45.1 which is perfect. Other brands sometimes are off by over a pound or worse. The 3.66" of thickness is no joke .
