My sofa was faded and stained so decided to try out Fabriccoat. I used dark grey as my sofa was already grey, it covered my sofa really well and gave it a new fresh look. I am really happy with the results and has saved money not having to replace the sofa.

This is a great product. It was easy to apply. Dried quickly and is not stiff. Highly recommended. But do be carefull. It is permanent on almost everything if you spill or mispaint. But it easily comes off skin which is a big plus.

So easy to use. Brilliant! Just bare in mind gun metal has a blue hue which I didn’t realise. Customer service were excellent and I sent the unused bottles back for refund. Will buy a dark grey to go over the chair to my desired colour.

Love the raspberry colour and it has brought a new lease of life to an old brown chair. It was a faux suede chair and took 5 coats to get it right. I had to buy a second 500ml bottle but it was definitely worth it to get the rich colour.

I painted this chair. It was a faded light pink before, now it’s orange and it’s been saved from the skip. Painting was easy but I found I needed all 2.5L and could do with more. It says to wet it and this was problematic as the water seemed to run through the fabric and take out the dye. Took far longer than it says to dry. Instructions are too basic and don’t cover enough eventualities. Paint itself washes out easily and this was its best feature.

This paint is a great idea and has transformed our dull armchair that we didn’t want to spend £1000 getting recovered. The guidelines for how much to order weren’t great as we ended up ordering double the amount however I think the fabric was really absorbent so it needed 3 coats. It is a little crispy but prefer it as it is now so think it was worth it.

I love the final look (still deciding whether to paint the cushion too or leave the contrast). I needed more paint than I thought I would (2x 500ml bottles and 1x 125ml to cover this chair in two generous coats) but I think the end result looks so good and would definitely use this again - great for upcycling a tired bit of furniture.

I'm in the process of painting my blue corner sofa purple. We were thinking of buying a new sofa because it's blue fabric was looking grubby and we couldn't wash the covers because of the buttons. I love the sofa shape so when i found out about Fabricoat I thought id give it a try.The purple works well, the colour is good (would've liked it with a hint of pink but still great) covers quite well and has saved our sofa. Also cat approved.

Hood website and ordering process - shame bigger sized bottles weren’t available. Paint went on well- followed website video. I got on better with a sponge than a paintbrush as I could get it in the fabric creases and it didn’t spray as much. Good fun and really happy with the result. Not everyone’s colour choice but I seem to have developed a bit of an addiction to this colour … post divorce room upgrade!

I used the raspberry fabricoat paint to cover a yellow armchair that was looking quite tired. Admittedly, after the first coat I was a little concerned as it looked quite orange. However, after the second coat, I was so happy with the result - a gorgeous, deep pink colour which I love. I would definitely recommend this product!

I’m painting my mother’s dining room chairs which are at least 30 years old and badly marked. The Raspberry pain has made them look like new. Reading the reviews some said coverage wasn’t great and they had to order more than advised on Fabricoats website. I ended up ordering far more than I need. I contacted Fabricoat who have said I can return any unused bottles and they will give me a refund. I highly recommend this product.

Wanted to paint an old velour chair and thought I would give it a go.(Nothing to lose if it didn't work as I was thinking of recovering it) Was very dubious about this product but I'm so glad I got the fabricoat. The paint did the job and changed the colour of the headboard fabric . Unfortunately I didn't read the instructions properly and the paint is more of a dye and the fabric should be lighter than the paint to cover it . Having said that although my fabric was darker it has made a difference and I don't need to change the headboard now so job done !! I am going to try it on something else now -I'm hooked !!

Have been given 4 x directors chairs but the cream coloured fabric was a bit stained. Tried Dylon as i thought they were made of canvas - didn't work! Very impressed. Easy to use and incredible colour coverage. I used the red dye on some car seats some parts of which had faded in the sun, to a light pink, other parts had retained their original dark(ish) red colour. One coat of the dye and the colour of the seats was consistent. Now I now know how easy this process is I’m not going to worry about the sun fading the seats, I’ll simply re-dye them.

Worked very well. I did a 10 foot patio umbrella was red new but highly faded. More pink an white. I cleabed it with dawn dish soap and dried completely. I used two larger fabricoat . Thinned 2 oz water 8 oz fabric coat. Sprayed water on umbrella not heavy just enough to dampen. Applied by brush. One bottle did one coat . Let dry. next day apply 2nd coat. Fantastic product. Transformed two medium sized bedroom lamp shades with ease, from silver grey to dark green. Easily applied with a soft bristle paint brush and after 2 coats job done 👌. Ordered 500ml but still have plenty left so could probably have got away with 250ml size. Highly recommended product.

Just followed the instructions and 2 coats later we have a new bed frame. We have a king size bed and only painted everything you can see twice (4 sides). Where the mattress lays, we only went in by 8 inches. No point painting it all as you cant see that bit. But by not painting that bit we had enough paint for the second coat. This was certainly a cheaper option than buying a new bed. I would use this paint again. Great product.

Took a little guts to go for it with the dye on my armchair and several coats for the colour too build up but loved it in the end. Found a combo of a brush initially and then sponging later on worked best for me. Make sure the fabric is wet to ensure that the colour moves on the surface

Fantastic product. Used a very small paint brush to touch up the black edge of a Roman blind that had faded in the sun on the side. Really easy. Used another firmer brush to lift the fabric as the paint was drying to avoid any patches. Blind looks like new. I thought I’d have to fully replace all three blinds but this has given a new lease of life! Really impressed.
