Ok it's 3D printed but this is about the best modern comerical version of the effect I've seen. The "magic carpet technology" is bulls**t. But it was always going to be. A thin layer of felt isnt going to mask the noise that the gimmick makes. However I find that clonking it on a table will. The alternative handling inside the box is rubbish too. I decided to invest in a decent set of coins, rather than another 2 books that would sit on the shelf. These are great!!! Extremely well made replicas with convincing signs of wear which make them look great.
