Very happy with this light, we wanted something different than the spot lights we've used in the past, and this does not disappoint and looks the business.
Be aware you need to assemble the fitting and the instructions are not the best, but if you take your time it's easy enough. When connecting the wires I used some small cable ties to keep the wires tidy in the central hub. I used 60w bulbs and it's very bright in the kitchen now, ( photo does not do it justice) I will probably drop down to 40...

This was delivered quickly and went together easily.
Hint that is not in the instructions:- Lash it to ceiling rose to hold it while the electrical connections are made.
Follow the instructions they are correct.
A spare ball was supplied as well as another chain .
I may add that to make it look asymmetrical / give it even more "funk".

Light looks amazing! Haven’t put bulbs in it yet though. Also when I opened the item I was struggling to assemble the item and so I emailed them and the customer service was amazing! They even sent me a video to show how to install it! I will definitely consider using house of lights again when I purchase future lights!

Apologies for delay in responding for request for a review but we have only just had it fitted.
We went from the norm on this purchase as it was replacing a ceiling light that was fitting for an Edwardian period property which we had purchased after seeing them displayed in lighting showrooms etc.

Looks fantastic. Easy to put together and once all the crystals are cut free looks even better. Lots of spare rods and bulbs just in case. Had to adjust the chain a few times to get the right height, but this too was easy.

So pleased with this light. As others have mentioned, it does take some putting together but very simple. I also bought the 8-light but wish I had bought the 16-light instead as, although large, they are very delicate and don’t overwhelm the space. Would recommend.

Wowzer! What a light, never seen anything like it. Several hours to construct, and you need to hang it low down to build it as it can't sit on anything. Instructions are a Chinese translation, amusing and fairly brief. But what a light it is!

These light are a bit tricky to put together; however no one can argue with the end result; it looks just great in our front room and has a timeless classic charm to it.
Best not to use too high lumen bulbs as it will be very bright, I originally put 12w 1400lumen bulbs in and 12 of if these was too bright for the room.
We then tried 7w 800 lumen bulbs 3000k and it give the right amount of comfortable slight yellow hue light which is softened by the opal white globes.

This fits in with my hall theme perfectly, I would recommend the following bulbs if you intend to use a dimmer:

One major point to remember, though. Don't snip the cable ties until the light is FULLY assembled - as if you do it's almost impossible to fasten the arms securely!

Gorgeous light although a bit of a nightmare to get up. I'd recommend only putting the spikes on one side before putting it up, and then putting in the other half once up. Otherwise you get impaled. Also very bright we have ordered a dimmer. I got the 12 bulb though so that was to be expected. Also took about 4 weeks to arrive but overall wotlrth it for the look and a much better price than similar ones I've seen.
