Neat effects, app is janky I have a bunch of Hue lights in my house, but don't have any of the "galaxy" or "nebula" style projectors. This is a cool in-between. It's bright enough to be slightly visible during daytime, but really shines (so to speak) in darker environments! Works fine without app This lamp projects a nice splash of color onto the ceiling. There are green stars and then a nebulae like color which rotates. The shape of the nebulae can be changed by changing the three projector disks, which is easy. The little motor that rotates the disk is basically silent. The basic functions of the lamp are all controllable from the buttons on the side. I took one star off though, because the app (Android version) wanted location permissions in order to connect to ...
