The paddle has amazing control and has beautiful grip! There is one thing I wish was different it would be for the edge of the paddle to be a little thinner and flat, because the problem I had was that I would be playing up at the net the ball gets sped up and I need to be there fast which I usually do until when I don’t perfectly hit the ball in the middle sometimes it dies completely because it hit the edge of the paddle. Without question, my new go-to paddle. I've been fluctuating between my Fat Boy and Shogun, both of which I love, but the Hybrid Filth is the best of both worlds for me. It's not a power paddle like the Shogun, but is capable of ripping the ball mine the less, it's got a beautiful sweet spot that feels so good at the net for precise dinks but also a great defensive tool when blocking speed ups and redirecting drives. Finally got on the court to use my new Wild Thing. Power gets an A+. Drives definitely had more pop. Also, felt the ball staying on the paddle more, increasing the spin. Resets took a bit to get the feel for but once I did it allowed me to hone in. When at the net I felt I had control and was able to place my dinks where I wanted them to go.
