I may have ordered them too long, but I can always trim them. Ends/tips appear a bit tattered, but I think this is common for tail feathers of this length. They are easily smoothed by running between two fingers. Color beige is nice and natural, and will be great for making outrageous pirate hats.

I called and submitted my Order, she told me they had to dye the feathers, but if they dyed them that night they would ship them next day and I would recurve them the following day. They are awesome! Exactly what they said. I will use them every time I need feathers.

Well, the fans are beautiful. The website description for the product cost is very misleading. Please read the description very carefully. It looks as though you’re buying two of these fans when in fact, the price is for only one fancy feathers was very good and helping to straighten out my order with a very nice discount still, I Thoroughly expected my order was for two. Very nice, and I will order again. I would have given the full five stars if a few of the plumes hadn't been less full and droopy than I like. I use femina plumes for my 18th and 19th century reproduction hats, and have yet to find a source that doesn't always throw in a few duds with every order. Some are not even usable. I know it's a natural product and absolute consistency is not possible, but I can't help wanting what I want! Shipping could have been a little quicker as well.
