So I learned about these blades on FB, and I read a lot of good feed back from barbers that had used them. I am not a barber, but I have been cutting for over 20 years (fades primarily). And the SPX blades are perfect! A definite buy if you fade.

This was easy peasy. Simple as 1 2 3. You're just going to want to unscrew the old blade. Open your new GTX or T-liner blade. Then you're going to insert the plastic piece that fits into the cutting blade. And you're going to take the tension spring and you're going to take the metal bracket. I love these blades on my magic clips. I use them for removing the bald line from my trimmers. They blend perfectly into the half guard. Only thing is my Wahl guards don't fit very well, and my blade rubs when the lever is closed. Other than that it's perfect for clipper over comb and balding out.

I wish I would have taken a photo of my first fade with these amazing blades! Installation was super easy. My blades arrived 10 min before I left for work and I was able to install them with no issues in 5 min. My fade time was 36 min before and now it averages out at 19 min with these blades. All my co workers are complimenting my work. Clients are super happy and I have gained more repeat clients.

Very awesome guard and I recommend it. I stand behind 3versince. I can say they care for us barbers. Last week I had an issue with my guard and it broke and they replaced it without question. I sent them my issue via email and they replied back with a shipping info for a new guard. They replaced my guard within a weeks time. I couldn’t be more happy with their service and product.

I personally find this as a great guard to add to your arsenal. It’s labeled as half guard & 1/8” so it’s literally in between a half guard and a 1 guard. How I use it, for a mid fade for example: I do a closed 3versince guard guideline where I would normally do my 1.5 guard open and then I do a open 2 guard above and man it came out smooth. Overall I like it a lot. I think it’s worth a try especially if your into trying tools and accessories.
