What a great experience working with Arthauss for my bedroom furniture. Absolutely love this unit - perfect size for room and really pleased with how it looks. Assembly was not difficult but did take a good few hours, nothing too complicated though. Loads of storage space under the TV and in the cupboard next to the glass display side. Shelves light up a nice subtle green colour with the included LED lights and complement the lights on the rear of my TV. Decided to add legs (10cm high) as felt the unit was a bit low for my taste. Brilliant! Took 2 days between 2 amateurs to put it together, I found instructions were clear enough. For a moment I tried to skip the drilling against the wall until the end but the hydraulics won’t open the bed otherwise, so definitely follow instructions to the T! I drilled in some cord to hold the books in the little slots as the big ones kept falling down (very shallow slots, could be improved by making it deeper tbh). We have just bought our second wall bed from Arthauss to put in our holiday house. The first wall bed at home has been invaluable for my elderly parents to use downstairs in our study. We are really happy with the quality of the wall bed and it is so easy to put up and down. It takes up much less floor space than a sofa bed would when either is not in use. Great wardrobe to give lots of storage in a small space. Sturdy and stylish. Had to assemble upright as room was too small to lay it down due to other furniture. This was very tricky, particularly trying to fix the flimsy back panels. These would be better as 2 panels rather than 4 to avoid the join, which we could not secure. I am absolutely thrilled with my 3 door sliding wardrobe. It is made from high-quality materials and looks very luxurious. The only negative is the assembly instructions. We had to give up assembling and hire a handyman that we found on mybuilder.com. It took 2 experienced handyman 3 hours to install. I spent plenty of time reading and rereading the instructions and watching the videos, I identified and labelled all the panels and sorted all the fixings into separate bags for each section of the build. Due to suffering with a bad back, I was only able to do an hour or so at a time so the build, from start to finish took over a week but could easily have been completed sooner. Really nice fold up bed, the artisan oak colour looks much better in real life than on the pictures on the website. The materials feel good quality, but time will tell durability. We have reinforced our wall to make sure the frame is fixed to the wall securely, and after that it’s really solid, nothing can move it. I read the reviews for the wardrobe after I purchased and admit became a bit worried about trying to put it together (lots saying instructions not clear etc.). Need not have worried as I found following them really simple. Putting the top on I'd say was a definite 3 man job but other than that me and the hubby managed just fine. Beautiful solid piece of furniture. So roomy inside. Quality for the price. Saw similar at Ikea made from same materials and similar dimensions over £400 more expensive....

Firstly may I just say that Nick, the Arthauss delivery guy was amazing, carrying 200kg + of boxes and a mattress up a flight of stairs on his own, I couldn't even lift one of the smaller boxes..!! Thanks Nick, you're a star. The printed assembly instructions for the bed do leave a bit to be desired and the YouTube video gives the impression you can put this bed together in a few hours (you can't) but combined did the trick with a bit of our own common sense thrown in for good measure.
