Not sure what I expected from the “Try It” box, but my husband and I were very pleasantly surprised. The amount of meat we received for the money was very unexpected and welcomed. Sirloin steak is our favorite cut of meat. This one was THE BEST one we ever tasted. It pretty much proves that grass fed and finished really does make a difference in the quality, taste and nutrition of our food. Thank you Freedom Farms for what you are doing for the community and beyond. God Bless.

Our first encounter with chicken from Freedom Farms NY was a success. The chicken was a pleasant blush, not that thick, yellow skin you find in the supermarket. After an overnight marinade of yogurt and spices, the chicken was cooked to perfection. The family loved it, and claimed it was delicious.

I gave purchased Freedom Farms NY ground beef previously and was very happy with the quality of the product. I decided to order the Burger Box this time and assure glad I did. The ease if the pre-made burgers made for an effortless grill this evening. The burgers were juicy and delicious. The quanlity reminds me of the meat I grew up eating from my grandparents while visiting in Greece. Clean meat.

We saw this option and thought it was a great idea! My wife loves organ meat. I personally would never eat liver or heart. But so much research points to organ meat as being so nutrient dense that I wanted to try this. It's delicious. It does taste different from the normal ground beef, a bit of a fuller, stronger taste. This was our third order. We started with the try it box then, we ordered a 1/4 and now we we ordered a 1/2 cow. Just can’t imagine going back to grocery store meat. We made a brisket with caramelized onions. It was so tender, flavorful and fresh. It’s a plus that Freedom farms is somewhat local to us. Last purchase was a Woof Woof box and The Tri-Tips .. as you can see it was quite a delivery. Since then I’ve made freeze dried liver treats for my Frenchies and dog food that is being gobbled up! The heart was enormous and I can’t wait to make my next batch of treats! The tri- tips look amazing as always, can’t wait to dig in. Just had a friend buy the new BBQ sauce to try on the short ribs!!
