I really liked this template. It worked well for me. I found that cutting very close to my line was helpful. I finished the piece using a 1/4” downcut bit. I used a forshner bit to drill out the eye and tail and finished with the router bit. I was pleased with the results.

The cut outs are really small and I could not find a router bit with small enough bearing to get into the small cut outs when giving the edge a small round over. Other than that the template works good.

With the price being as reasonable as it was, I ordered three of these templates just to have on hand. I used them to make over a dozen mini-cheese and/or serving boards for my office co-workers. The handle made all the boards look professional and uniform. I then created artwork and laser engraved everyone's first initial on the boards to customize each one. They were a hit. I have also purchased and used several other handle styles from Crafted Elements. They are very useful.

Still very new at using router templates. Because of all the curves and angles, I initially had a few hiccups, but managed to correct any small mistakes I made.
